• The 2011 Fall Sale is over. Thank you for making our sale such a success. It is only with your support that we are able to help the libraries in our community fulfill their literacy goals.

Thanks also to all those who helped at the Book Sale - our regular, year-round volunteers and our community helpers.

  • Read the Fall Volunteer Newsletter here. Thank you to Kyllikki Inman and Laurel Hodgden, general editors, and Frances Fawcett, layout editor, for a wonderful job.

Volunteering during the Year

During the year, our volunteers sort thousands of donated books into nearly 70 subject categories. This job is handled by our rough sorters. Then, category sorters refine this preliminary sorting still further. It's this level of sorting which makes our sale stand out from many others.

Please join us. We don’t require a long-term commitment. You don't have to volunteer for a specific time or a specific number of hours. Our volunteers come when they can.

For more information about volunteering, contact the Book Sale.

We do not allow Book Dealers to volunteer.
